Unit known as dressing table in solid teak. Quadrangular body with an open compartment on the right, a glass shelf and a large rectangular mirror affixed by screws. On the left, two superimposed drawers with opening grips in the shape of hollowed-out circles on an aluminum background, typical of the work of Pierre Jeanneret in Chandigarh. Pair of “compass”-type high legs a fixed to the sides of the body.
Pierre Jeanneret is one of the prolific designers and architects in the modern world. He approached design with an intellectual focus, bringing a more humanistic focus that would become a hallmark of modernist design.
